RAIN

Acupuncture

Acupuncture for people who are done being told “it’s normal.”

Rain Wellness Center | Wyck, Maastricht

Movement. Menstruation. Mood.

Anchor 1

Your body doesn’t compartmentalize.

Relaxing acupuncture session

It holds stress and it buries grief. It carries hormonal shifts in the same tissue that carries old injuries. Pain, mood, hormones, sleep, digestion. Your body processes all of it together.

Your care should too.

At Rain, nothing is treated in isolation. I start with your main concern. The pain, the struggle, the night sweats, the headaches, the periods that never seem to stop. And then we talk about the whole picture.

We'll then combine acupuncture, Chinese medicine, and movement to treat what is actually happening, not just what showed up on the surface.

Movement. Menstruation. Mood.
We treat the whole picture.

Meet Alison

I'm an acupuncturist, personal trainer, mom of three, and the founder of Rain Wellness Center in Wyck, Maastricht.

I trained in the United States and treated patients both in the U.S. and during an intense trip to Vietnam. From rehab facilities to integrative clinics to community centers and university health services, I bring an integrative, unhurried approach to every patient I see here.

My background is in movement, women's health, and pain relief. I understand how the physical and emotional body are connected, because i've spend more than two decades watching that connection in other people. Unfortunately or fortunately, I've also had to learn the truth within that connection over and over again throughout my personal journey.

I don't treat symptoms in isolation. I don't offer one-size-fits-all care. It's important to me to take the time to understand your whole picture, because that's the clearest way and most effective way for the work to actually hold.

My Approach

Acupuncture and movement belong under the same roof.

Most of my patients come in carrying something their previous care never quite reached.

Not because the care was “bad.” But because it was treating one concentrated piece of a much larger picture.

I am an acupuncturist with a background in personal training, yoga, and athletic conditioning. That combination isn’t just for people who identify as sporty or fit. The body that tenses up under a needle is often the same body that won’t fire correctly under load. The shoulder stiffness that keeps coming back is often connected to something that is about so much more than the shoulder.

Chinese medicine has always understood the connection within our entire body… and mind. You are a whole person. When we treat your body as whole, rather than a collection of separate parts, things that have not responded to anything else begin to move.

You don't have to wait until it gets worse.

Small symptoms are signals. Recurring pain is information. A body that feels like it's working against you is asking for attention. For care. For something it hasn't received yet.

You deserve support.

Whether you're ready to start now, or you have questions first, I'd love to hear from you.

Acupuncture care for pain relief, hormonal balance, stress relief, and women’s health.
